Edmonds School Condominium

Edmonds School Condominium was formerly the James Edmonds School that was built in 1903, and named to honor James Barker Edmonds. It closed in the 1970s and was occupied at various times by a credit union, the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education, the Associates for Renewal in Education and a daycare center. In 2014 it became a condominium known as the Edmonds School Condominium.

It is comprised of 20 condominium units and 4 townhomes. The To historical integrity of the building was preserved as much as possible. The developer re-engineered and reclaimed all of the surviving wood and masonry structures that it could. Units have expansive windows and 10’+ ceiling. Using the school’s attic space the developer built corner second floor units with lofted ceilings that range from 5 to 14 feet. Four of the second floor units will also feature dormers that will peak at around 13 feet. The condo includes 14 on-site parking spaces, a handful of them covered. The townhomes each come with a parking space.

Nearby there are a lot of businesses, shopping, Stanton Park, Lovejoy Park, Kingsman Field Dog Park, Whole Foods, restaurants, Ben’s Chili Bowl, and a hospital.
