Penn Eleven Condominium

Penn Eleven Condominium is a boutique condo, and has a roof deck with grilling area, door service, concierge service, and a resident library. The ground floor of Penn Eleven features commercial space with a restaurant and the iconic Frager’s Hardware store, which was founded on the original site of the condominium, and remains there today. It was developed by architect firm Hickok Cole. Frager’s Hardware was opened by Fritz Frager in 1920 and has provided the neighborhood with home improvement and building supplies since then. In the summer of 2013, most of the building tragically burned down with only a brick façade along the two main streets remaining. That is when redevelopment started to what you see today.

Also nearby are numerous restaurants, such as Roses Luxury.  It is also close to Trader Joe’s, Eastern Market, Lincoln Park, cafes, churches, a liquor store, several other parks and squares, and RFK Stadium. The Library of Congress and the Capitol building are also walkable.
